A Masterplan by CPG Consultants Singapore
The site plan for Century WinningKind was designed by CPG Consultants Singapore, an internationally recognized landscape and urban design firm best known for their work on Singapore's Gardens by the Bay. Their involvement brings a level of landscape integration and spatial planning expertise that is uncommon in Bengaluru's residential market.
The 15.7-acre site is organized around a central principle: children's experience of the outdoors should be varied, stimulating, and seamlessly integrated into daily routines rather than confined to fenced playgrounds. The master plan achieves this by distributing five themed discovery zones across the entire site, ensuring that every tower has direct visual and physical access to at least one or two of these zones. This means families do not need to cross the entire township to reach a designated play area — nature and play are woven into the paths between their tower entrance and the clubhouse, the pool, or the main gate.
Tower Placement and Phasing
The full development envisions 14 towers distributed across the 15.7-acre site. The towers are arranged to maximize inter-tower spacing, which serves multiple purposes: privacy between units facing each other, adequate natural light penetration to lower floors, wind circulation through the township, and sightlines to the landscaped areas from as many apartments as possible.
Phase 1 comprises Tower 01 and Tower 02, totalling 458 apartments. These towers are positioned to give early residents access to a meaningful subset of the amenity infrastructure and discovery zones from the outset, rather than placing them at the periphery of an incomplete township. Each tower stands at 2B + G + 19 floors, creating a mid-rise skyline that balances density with livability.
Subsequent phases will introduce additional towers, each benefiting from the landscape framework already established in the master plan. The phased approach also means that later towers can be refined based on feedback from Phase 1 residents and evolving market preferences, while the overall spatial framework remains consistent.
The Five Discovery Zones in the Master Plan
The master plan distributes five distinct themed landscapes across the township. Each zone is designed to engage different senses and developmental needs, and they are connected by a network of pathways, boardwalks, and transitional landscape elements that make moving between zones feel like a journey rather than a walk across a flat development.
The Glowing Forest
Located along one of the main pedestrian circulation routes, The Glowing Forest is a woodland trail with interactive lighting elements designed to create an enchanting atmosphere during evening hours. The path is lined with dense planting that creates a canopy effect, and the lighting design uses low-level and accent illumination to guide children along the trail while creating pockets of discovery — a glowing mushroom installation here, an illuminated fern cluster there. This zone targets sensory exploration and wonder, particularly for younger children aged 3–8.
The Floating Mountains
This zone features elevated terrain with climbing elements, a ridge landscape, and adventure play features. The ground is sculpted to create hills and valleys at a scale that is challenging for children without being dangerous — think scramble slopes, balance beams integrated into the landscape, and rock formations that invite climbing. The Floating Mountains target the 5–12 age group's need for physical challenge and confidence-building through managed risk.
The Sacred Pools
A water feature zone centred around cascading pools, reflective surfaces, and gentle water flows. The design provides both active water play for children (shallow splash areas, stepping stones across water features) and contemplative spaces for adults (seating areas beside still water, shaded pavilions with pool views). Water has a natural calming effect, and this zone is positioned to be visible from several tower clusters, providing a visual amenity even from balconies.
The Ancient Tree
The heart of the community, this zone is anchored by a grand tree canopy that serves as the visual and social centrepiece of the township. Around it, the master plan places the amphitheatre, the grand lawn with stage, community swings, and a hammock garden. The Ancient Tree zone is designed for multi-generational gathering — grandparents can sit in the hammock garden watching children on the swings, while teenagers can use the amphitheatre steps as a casual hangout. Community events, festive celebrations, and weekend markets can use the grand lawn and stage.
The Southern Glades
Open meadows in the southern portion of the site feature therapeutic gardens, a yoga deck, outdoor shower, and serene resting areas. This zone is the quietest of the five, designed for mindfulness activities, morning exercise, and contemplation. The therapeutic garden includes plant species selected for their aromatic and tactile properties, making it a sensory experience that benefits both children and adults. The reflexology path winds through this zone, providing a gentle foot massage during walks.
Circulation and Connectivity
The master plan separates vehicular and pedestrian traffic wherever possible. An elevated boardwalk serves as a primary pedestrian spine connecting different parts of the township, allowing residents — especially children — to move between towers, the clubhouse, and the discovery zones without crossing vehicle roads. This is a significant safety feature that many conventional apartment layouts overlook.
The entry portal and arrival grove create a transition experience from the public road into the township. Rather than a security gate opening directly onto a parking lot, the arrival sequence passes through planted areas that establish the green, nature-forward character of the community from the first moment.
Amenity Infrastructure Positioning
The 40,000+ sq ft clubhouse is centrally positioned to ensure equitable access from all towers. The swimming pool complex (main pool, kids' pool with slider, and splash pool) is located adjacent to the clubhouse, creating a consolidated recreation hub. The multi-purpose court, skating rink, and other active sports facilities are grouped to contain noise and activity in one zone, separate from the quieter therapeutic and meditation areas.
The paw park is positioned at the periphery, near the boundary pathway, providing a natural walking circuit for pet owners that does not conflict with children's play areas. The BBQ pavilion and the cafe under the arrival podium are placed near gathering spaces (the grand lawn and the entry area respectively), encouraging spontaneous social interaction.
Green Coverage and Environmental Design
The master plan allocates a substantial portion of the 15.7-acre site to green and landscaped areas. The township's position opposite Attur Lake and adjacent to the Puttenahalli Bird Conservation Reserve means that the landscape design does not need to create nature from scratch — it can extend and complement an existing natural ecosystem. Plant species are selected to attract local birdlife and butterflies, creating a living landscape that changes with the seasons.
Stormwater management is integrated into the landscape design, with the Sacred Pools and other water features serving dual purposes as aesthetic elements and runoff management infrastructure. The lazy pond and sacred waterfall are part of this water circuit, providing visual and auditory elements while managing rainwater sustainably.
